Dr. Kaylene Meyerhoffer has wanted to help animals from a young age. She grew up on a farm in Ogden, Utah and has always fostered a desire to help sick animals to be able to heal, as well as to help newborn animals get a good start to life. Dr. Meyerhoffer has a passion for teaching and educating owners on the best ways to care for their animals and prevent disease. She loves the medicine aspect of veterinary work and helping to diagnose and treat disease, as well as performing various surgeries. She strives to focus on the overall well-being of every animal, rather than just treating the one problematic aspect.
Dr. Meyerhoffer previously practiced small animal veterinary medicine for 8 years at a bustling practice with 4 other doctors. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in June of 2011 from Washington State University after receiving her Bachelors in Animal Science with a Science emphasis in 2007 from Utah State University. She is part of the AVMA, UVMA, and NUVMA.
In her free time, Dr. Meyerhoffer loves spending time with her family, doing everything from riding horses to attending her children’s soccer games. She also enjoys working with the various animals on their small farm, as well as taking care of her flowers. Dr. Meyerhoffer is passionate about taking care of both her mind and body and enjoys participating in various spiritual activities with her church.
